Thirteen's Debut Release Hits The Charts

Tree Thirteen's Debut Release Hits The Charts

"Stupid Little Games," made the charts right out of the box and continues to get press! American Music Scene listed "Stupid Little Games" on their New and Promising (Pick Hits) chart (9/20, 10/4, 10/18, & 10/25). And the status continue to grow!“ (see below)

Over the last five months OTB Records has established its presence in the music industry through the aggressive marketing and promotion campaign executed for their flagship act Tree Thirteen. The marketing and promotion campaign for Tree Thirteen has seen success comparable to some of today’s top artists that have been developed over the last five years. In just four months Tree Thirteen has battled and held their own on the college radio charts against the likes of Citizen Cope, De La Soul, Ambulance, Ben Harper, and many more. Tree Thirteen peaked at #6 on KASC’s (Temp, AZ) hip-hop charts, at #13 on WKKK (W. Barnstable, MA), and #17 on KUGS (Bellingham, WA). After an intense college radio campaign, 117 out of a possible 200 college radio stations added ‘Rough Grooves Surface to their play list! This is a great feat for a new artist.

The love at radio didn’t stop in the college circuit. In the most difficult time of year Tree Thirteen’s ‘Stupid Little Games’ held its own on the R&R CHR/Pop Top 40 charts. The same week Britney Spear, Destiny’s Child, Usher, Ashlee Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Good Charlotte, Nelly, and Terror Squad went for ads on R&R CHR/Pop stations, Tree Thirteen came in at #7 most added (tied with Ashlee Simpson and Terror Squad – and beating out Nelly / Christina Aguilera). The progress continued as the single received ‘most added’ recognition again on 10/15 along with ‘most increased plays’. The single topped out at 181 spins before the holiday break. We are expecting more growth at radio in early 2005 when the heavy competition dies down.
